Skyes black and blue: Books are better then real life

For some reason, I've decided that once again, books make the very best friends and story characters make the very best friends. You can sit down and read a book, get lost in its story and get to know its characters. Even make friends with the characters you want to make friends with. And the best part is, that they dont leave you or make you feel completely unwanted. How can they, if they arent real? You can always go back to them. The only way you they leave is if you put them back up on a shelf.

Sometimes I wish life was like reading a book. You can pick up a book any time you want too and read its pages only when it suites you. Wouldnt it be nice if you could live life any time you wanted too and pick up its pages anytime? Not have to deal with any of the bull shit that life puts you through? And any time something goes wrong, well all you would have to do is shut the book until you where ready to pick it up again.

Right now, I'd really like to be able to do that. Just drown myself inside the pages of a storybook and never come out. Fantasy worlds are so much better then the real world anyway.
